There are 3 ways that you can order your repeat prescriptions:
- by telephone
- in the Surgery by placing your repeat prescription in the letterbox
- online using SystmOnline
(Please note, for first time users of this online system, a password must be obtained from reception.)
Prescriptions are available at 48 hours notice if your Doctor has authorised repeat medications.
Telephone: 01205 319856 Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
Click here to visit the SystmOnline website where you can book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online.
Patients who receive regular prescriptions will be asked at intervals to see a Doctor before their next repeat prescription is due. This is so that the patient’s clinical need for the medicine can be assessed and altered as necessary.
All the GP Practices in NHS Lincolnshire have been advised to adopt a 28 days as the standard treatment length for repeat prescriptions.

Since February 2014, Greyfriars Surgery has participated in the Electronic Prescribing Service. The Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) meant your prescriptions can now be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
As well as using less paper, EPS will also save you time as instead of coming to the surgery to collect your paper prescription, taking it round to the pharmacy and waiting for it to be dispensed, you can go straight to the pharmacy and your medication should be made up.
