Text messaging service
Would you like to be reminded of your appointment? If the answer is yes, we can send you a text.
The benefits
If we have your consent, we can send you a FREE text message to your mobile phone to:
- Confirm the date and time of your appointment
- Remind you 24 hours before your appointment is due
- Inform you, if you forgot to attend your appointment
Please note - this service is only available to patients over the age of 16 years.

The text message will be sent to you using a secure facility; however, the text is sent over a public network onto your personal telephone and as such, may not be secure. The practice will not send you any information which would enable you to be identified.
If you change your mobile phone number, or it is no longer in your possession, it is your responsibility to inform the practice.
The practice does not share mobile phone details with any external organisation.
Answer phone messaging
At the practice, we take patient confidentiality very seriously and try to preserve this on all occasions. There are times when we may need to contact you by telephone and it would be helpful if we were able to leave a message on your home or mobile answer machine.
In order for us to do this we must have a written consent as other people who live in your house may have access to and listen to the message. We would of course, never give more information that is strictly necessary to let you know that you were contacted.

Travel Vaccinations
If you are travelling abroad and need advice about immunisations, simply fill out the form below with all information about your trip. The practice nurse will then look over your details and we will be in touch to let you know whether& or not you require any immunisations before you go. Travel vaccinations work best when administered 6 to 8 weeks before you travel.

Request For Information
Many of our services are only possible because we have our patients data recorded on the computer. We are registered under the Data Protection Act. The Doctor or Nurse may discuss your computer record with you and you are, of course, entitled to see it.
If you wish to see your Health Record for any reason, please click on the link below to fill out a form detailing the information you require and the reason for this request. Please be aware that in some instances, you may be charged for this request.
